Our highly experienced Practitioners include Ayurvedic Medicine Practioner Losang Jinpa, Ph.D, D.Ayur, the most senior student of world-renowed Ayurvedic Physician and author Dr. Vasant Lad in Northern California. Losang served over 6500 patients over 14 years of practice, including a 6-year, 1800-hour 1900-patient apprenticeship with Dr. Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute.

We are the leading provider of continuing professional online education to meet the educational, training and re-certification needs of practitioners of Indo-Tibetan Ayurvedic medicine all over the world. Programs of study provide specialized learning experiences in a variety of topics that help improve and expand the capabilities of practitioners of Ayurveda.  We offer both live and mobile education (distance learning - correspondence courses via video and audio) to train home herbalists, health professionals and clinical herbal practitioners. Program 1:

Clinical Ayurveda Therapist

Foundation Courses

Learn the fundamental concepts of Ayurvedic Medicine including causes of disease, patterns of disharmony and diagnostic methods. Program One gives the student an in-depth presentation of the major therapeutic principles of Ayurveda, Nutrition, Herbology and Yoga-Meditation.

Master Ayurvedic Herbalist

Program Four continues with an in-depth study of the Ayurveda and its herbal system (including differential diagnosis) specifically designed for health practitioners of Ayurveda, traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) graduates, other health professionals or graduates of our Program Three.

Become a Certified Practitioner of East Indian Ayurvedic and Tibetan Ayurveda herbal and dietary therapies.

The non-profit Ayurveda Healing Arts Institute (part of the Medicine Buddha Healing Center) offers distance learning (online correspondence course with regular phone support) and in-person apprenticeship formats leading to specialized Herbal Certifications and Diplomas.

Taught by highly experienced degreed faculty clinicians and scholars.  Our main teacher is Losang Jinpa, Ph.D., D.Ayur -- he has served over 6500 patients, 1900 with Dr. Vasant Lad during a formal six-year, 1800 hour clinical apprenticeship.
